BASKETBALL
NOTE: Due to scheduling conflicts on our end I have moved the March 6th Boys basketball games TO March 8th at 11am for JV and Noon for the Varsity. These games are at St. Louise
Girls basketball has just finished. The 7th grade team played hard and went up against many 8th grade teams this year. I believe the saying goes something like: "What doesn't kill you will make you stronger". Very good effort by these girls.
The 6th grade Girl's team which was comprised of 4th thru 6th grade girls had a very successful season finishing over .500 and finishing in 4th place in a 8 team league. Considering the majority of teams we play are from schools that have three or four times as many kids as St. Barbara, this is a great accomplishment. A great effort by all the Girls. Stop by the gym and check out the new "hardware" in our trophy case for this 4th place league finish.
The 6th and 8th grade Boy's teams are underway and they are working hard. They will not finish up until the end of March. More to follow at that time.
CHEERLEADING
We again have a large squad this year and they have been practicing hard. They will start cheering at the end of January for the remainder of the Boy's home basketball games. Come on out and watch!
VOLLEYBALL
Girl's Volleyball practice has started. League play will start February 12th. Check out this website for a schedule very soon. We will have 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams this year.
