Emergency Closing Procedure

You can check the status of our school or other schools the following ways:

1. Go to the public website at www.emergencyclosings.com and search for the school by typing the name and city or by the main phone number of the school (708-485-0806). If you can't get through to this website, you can always check the local television stations' websites. The school closing should be published on those sites also.
2. Call 847-238-1234 from a touch-tone phone and enter the main phone number of the school (708-485-0806).
3. Receive an e-mail notification of a change made to your school by signing up on the website at www.emergencyclosings.com
4. Listen to WGN Radio 720-AM, WBBM Radio 780-AM or watch CBS Ch.2, NBC Ch. 5, ABC Ch. 7, FOX Ch 32, WGN-TV, Ch. 9 or CLTV cable for closing information.
5. Updates will be made to our school website at stbarbaraschool.com as soon as possible.
6. If all else fails, you can try calling the school. We will do our best to update the message on the answering machine.
