SCHOOL RAFFLE - $100 TICKETS CHANCE TO WIN $15,000! 2nd Early Bird drawing Friday, April 9th at BINGO! Tickets are available through the school and rectory offices and online at www.stbarbaraschool.com

PRINCIPAL NOTES: Parents, please work on selling the $100 raffle tickets you previously received. It is important to our school and our fund-raising efforts that everyone does their part in making this raffle a success.

Please try to attend our Parish Missions next week. Our presenters are fantastic and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Reports cards will be given out tomorrow to all families who are current with their tuition payments.

We wish our 8th graders a safe and enjoyable day at the 8th grade retreat this Saturday.

Any student who brings a game and/or electronic to school to use at Extended Day should be sure to put their names on each item. The children are sharing their games, but in doing so, many are ending up lost. The school is not responsible for any lost items.

Treat your family to a delicious fish dinner or mac and cheese dinner tomorrow night at our Fish Fry! Please note the new serving times are 4:00 - 8:00. Stations of the Cross will begin at 6:45 in the church followed by Father Casey's presentation entitled: How does faith make a difference in dealing with the "tough stuff" of life - suffering, death, evil and sin?

THE SCHOOL STORE IS BACK! This year, the school store will be run by the Student Council, with all of the profits going towards the various events and activities run by Student Council throughout the school year. The school store will be open to the students every Monday morning from 8:45 - 9:25 so they can stock up on needed school supplies.

"A NIGHT IN HOLLYWOOD" Student Council and FSA are proud to announce they will be hosting another dance on Saturday, March 6th. The theme is Hollywood and movie stars! Please join us for a night of food, dancing, and good times. Preschool through fourth grade can walk the red carpet at 5:00 and dance until 7:00! Fifth through eighth graders will push past the paparazzi for a night of fun from 8:00-10:30! Hope to see all of you there! Don't forget to bring your movie star glasses and get ready to show us your cool moves on the dance floor!

JR. ACHIEVEMENT TEACHERS NEEDED: Any Virtus-trained parent that is interested in teaching your child's class or any other class should call Steffanie W. The kits are in and waiting for some volunteers to take charge and teach the programs. The programs are 4-6 hours total spread over a 5-6 week period for you to teach. Everything you need to teach a class is included all the way down to what you say line by line. Don't be intimidated; show your child you want to partake in something at school. They'll think it's cool! 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades are the only grades that have been spoken for. All other grades need teachers. Call me, we need you.

WORLD'S FINEST CHOCOLATE SALE: We will be kicking off our annual candy sale next week. Each family will be asked to sell at least two boxes over the next three weeks. Dennis Tischler has graciously offered space in his store to our families again this year to sell their candy bars (one family sold both of their boxes in merely one hour at Tischlers!) More details to come in a separate letter next week.

42" FLAT SCREEN HDTV RAFFLE: We still have raffle tickets available for the 42" TV in the school office. The drawing will be held on March 19, 2010. Each ticket is only $1.00. Winner need not be present at time of drawing. Questions, please contact Linda or Dennis Tischler at 354-2377.
