ST. BARBARA SCHOOL
THURSDAY TIDBIT
God’s Words Guide Us November 17, 2005
Congratulations to all of our students who received Gold, Silver and Bronze Honors. We couldn't be more proud.
PRINCIPAL NOTES: I’m pleased to announce that because of all the help from our school families at Casino Nights ’05, we made a profit of $19,500! Thanks again to Chris & Russ Jablonski, Steff Woywod, and Jen & Kevin Reynolds for all their time and effort in organizing such a wonderful event. This is awesome!
Please remember that the deadline for items on the cover of the tidbit is 9:00 a.m. on Wednesdays. The deadline for any inserts into the tidbit is 1:00 on Wednesdays.
Parents, please do not bring in a fast food lunch for your child if they forgot theirs or you did not have the makings of a lunch at home. We always have peanut butter and jelly on hand or possibly there would be an extra hot lunch available on that day.
Please bring your child to church each Sunday. It's a great way to start off the week!
MANNA CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: Please see the enclosed flyers for important information regarding the Certificate Program.

BABY BOTTLES FOR LIFE: WOW!! Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to save a life? Thank you to all who participated in the Baby Bottles For Life fundraiser for WomanCare Services crisis pregnancy center located at 3240 S. Oak Park Avenue, Berwyn. Your large and small sacrificial gifts of pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and dollars totaled $2,346.34! Your prayers and donations will help them continue their life-affirming work. There are many unreturned bottles out there. WomanCare uses them for future fundraisers. Empty bottles can be left in the church usher’s room and bottles with additional sacrificial contributions will be accepted at the rectory, school, or religious education offices. WomanCare is a 501(c) (3) charitable organization and contributions are tax deductible. Be a lifesaver!
