GOD’S WORDS GUIDE US

PRINCIPAL NOTES: It has come to my attention at Principal meetings and here at school that many of our young people are going online to a site called “MySpace” at myspace.com. Just because your child is not on the Internet at home, does not mean that he/she is not on the Internet. Children can easily create a name and password at a friend’s house and you would never know. I suggest that you speak with your child regarding this website and ask him/her to show you their profile and how easy it is to look at people’s pages who you don’t know. In the same respect, explain to them that strangers are also able to look at their pages. Many parents are surprised at what information their children are giving out over the Internet. In this day and age, we can never be too safe!

Wednesday, December 21st, will be an out-of-uniform day. Students can wear green and red to celebrate the Christmas holidays! Jeans and gym shoes will be allowed. Any clothing with inappropriate wording, pictures, etc. are not allowed.

If you haven’t already turned in the new Website Permission form, please do so. If you have misplaced yours, there are more in the office or you can get it off our website

The January calendar will be coming home on January 6, 2006.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM REMINDERS: The Christmas Program begins at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow. The students are asked to be in their seats by 6:30. Band students should also be at church by 6:30. Mr. Enns will be looking for a few band members to help him move the music stands from the Music Room before and after the performance. Preschoolers should meet in the children's room in the back of the church at 6:40. As always, we would appreciate all picture taking and/or videotaping to take place from the back of the church or from the pew in which you are seated. Aisles need to remain clear at all times. Also, please try to refrain from talking. In the past we have had some complaints from people who were trying to videotape their child’s performance and all that was picked up on the tape were the conversations of those people sitting around them. Please remember this is a performance and we should respect that. Thank you for your cooperation!

MANNA CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: Information can now be found on the school website. Please check it on a regular basis for any updated information on the program! ITunes certificates are now available in $15.00 denominations and Staples certificates are available in $25.00 denominations. Please remember that orders will resume on Monday, January 9th. If you need certificates during Christmas break, please call Dawn at 485-6645 to check availability.

LAST CHANCE FOR THE BOX TOPS & TYSON LABEL RAFFLE: All Box Tops collection sheets and Tyson labels need to be turned into the classroom collection bins by Monday Dec. 19th for the drawing on Tuesday. Also, the Whole Grain Challenge ends Dec. 31st so this is the last chance to send any whole grain symbols into school. Please don’t wait until after break, it’ll be too late. Keep on clipping over the holidays and look in the January 12th tidbit for details of our next collection.

MARKET DAY! This months helpers are the 4th graders and their parents. We really appreciate your help and can't wait to see you! Please meet us at 8:30am on Saturday in the Parish Center. Don't forget to pick up your orders between 10:30 and 11:30am. Thank you!

HOT LUNCH ORDERS were due today!

HAVE YOU RUN OUT OF TIME to bake for this weekend’s Christmas party? Come down to the Windemere Room after the 5:00 p.m. Saturday Mass or any of the Sunday Masses, including the 3:00 p.m. Spanish Mass, and purchase some homemade bakery. The 8th grade class is holding a bake sale to help offset some of their 8th grade expenses. Thank you for your continued support.
