God’s Words Guide Us                                     March 16, 2006

PRINCIPAL NOTES:  On Wednesday, March 22nd, we are hosting the Leadership Day for all principals in Vicariates 3 & 4.   We will not be able to use the Parish Center parking lot on this day.  I apologize for the inconvenience.  Students K-8th can be dropped off on Vernon or Forest.  Preschoolers should follow the directions given to them by their teacher.

Please be sure to have your child bring or wear gym shoes on Monday (picture day) if Monday is their day for gym class.  If your daughter is wearing a dress, she should also wear shorts underneath it or bring pants to change into.

Due to pictures being on Monday, the students can wear the red accessories on Tuesday instead of Monday.

Please do not ignore the enclosed flier for the Parent Workshop regarding Internet Use and Misuse.

If your child has been diagnosed with a contagious illness such as strep throat, please inform the school office so we can send a note home to the families advising them to watch their child for symptoms.  If your child has a fever, they should not be in school.

Next Thursday, March 23rd, the Brookfield Fire Department will be at school to teach fire safety to our students.  Please don’t be alarmed if you see fire trucks outside the school on that day.

The date for the Spring Band Concert has been changed to May 31st.  Please mark your calendars.

Please try to join us on the Fridays during Lent for the Stations of the Cross beginning at 7:30 p.m.
