PRINCIPAL NOTES: A giant THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS goes out to the students and Mrs. Turek for the enjoyable Christmas Pageant! The children looked beautiful and sounded like little angels. Our sincerest thanks also to Mr. Enns and to our band members who did a wonderful job! A special thank you to our former graduate, Cheryl Okuda, for playing the piano. Everything came together perfectly!

Thanks so very much to all of you for your kind thoughts, prayers, wishes and generous gifts to all of us during the holiday season! A special thanks for sharing your most precious gift of all with us…your children! We wish you all a blessed New Year!

I’m pleased to announce that because of all the help from our school families at the Fall Casino Nights ’06, we made a profit of $21,248.18! Thanks again to Chris & Russ Jablonski and Steff Woywod for all their time and effort in organizing such a wonderful event. This is awesome!

St. Barbara's Office of Pastoral Care would like to extend to each of our thoughtful and caring families their heartfelt gratitude for all the various signs of caring shown to families in need in our area and surrounding areas of Brookfield. You helped to bring much joy to the lives of others.

We at St. Barbara encourage all of our families to participate in Sunday Masses and other prayerful activities that our parish is offering to you.

The January calendar will be coming home on January 11, 2007.

OUT-OF-UNIFORM: Tomorrow, Friday, December 22nd, will be an out-of-uniform day. Students can wear green and red to celebrate the Christmas holidays! Jeans and gym shoes will be allowed. Any clothing with inappropriate wording, pictures, etc. are not allowed.

A NOTE FROM ST. BARBARA’S STUDENT COUNCIL: We would like to thank everyone for making our raffle so successful! A special thank you goes to the Sukacz family for donating a $10 gift card to Blockbusters and to Mrs. Cook for creating a delicious and beautifully decorated chocolate house. We are using the money to purchase some recess equipment.

BINGO NEWS: We NEED more Bingo players. Come out and meet other school families! Win $$$ We have a great time, come check it out! Our next Bingo is January 12, 2007.

HOOPS MANIA: Information regarding Hoops Mania was sent home yesterday with each tidbit carrier.
