Breakfast for Biloxi, a fundraiser to benefit the parish mission trip headed to Biloxi, Mississippi for the hurricane rebuilding effort, will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 11th.
The feedback from January’s Family Mass was very positive and the E-Team would like to thank everyone who came and helped out. Mark your calendars for February 11th at 9:30 a.m. for the next Family Mass. All families are encouraged to come to this Liturgy, which strives to involve the children in a special way. Join us as we pray and praise, sing and share.

RESPECT LIFE:
A message Written by Pope John Paul II:
It’s normal to grieve a pregnancy loss, including a loss of a child by abortion. It can form a hole in one’s heart, a hole so deep that sometimes it seems nothing can fill the emptiness.
A special word to women who have had an abortion: The Church is aware of the many factors which may have influenced your decision, and does not doubt that in many cases it was a painful and even shattering decision. The wound in your heart may not have yet healed. Certainly what happened was and remains terribly wrong. But do not give in to discouragement and do not lose hope. Try rather to understand what happened and face it honestly. If you have not already done so, give yourselves over with humility and trust to repentance. The Father of mercies is ready to give you His forgiveness and His peace in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. You will come to understand that nothing is definitively lost and you will also be able to ask forgiveness from your child, who is now living with the Lord. (Pope John Paul II, Gospel of Life)
THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE really appreciates our donations of pop tabs. All proceeds collected from pop tabs go directly into the operating costs of the house. The Ronald McDonald House near Loyola is a much needed and temporary “home away from home” for families of seriously ill or injured children receiving medical care at nearby hospitals. Over 5600 families have stayed at the House since its opening in July 1995.
Did you know? 12 pop tabs = 1 foot 1,267 tabs = 1 lb.
63,360 tabs = 1 mile 1,000,000 tabs = 790 pounds
GOOD LUCK TO OUR CHICAGO BEARS!
