ST. BARBARA SCHOOL

THURSDAY TIDBIT

Page One We Are Called to Serve - October 23, 2008

PRINCIPAL NOTES: The weekly Friday morning Mass will resume beginning tomorrow. Students (grades K-8th) should be in their classrooms by 7:50 every Friday (with the exception of Halloween) so they can walk over to church together with their teacher. Parents and friends, please feel most welcome to join us!

Enclosed in today's tidbit is a Preschool survey. I am asking that this be completed by parents who have children of preschool age or younger. Please feel free to give this survey to your neighbors, friends, etc. who have young children. Extra forms are available from [] the school office. The results will help us to better plan for next school year. Thanks for your cooperation!

Please watch for the letter coming home today under separate cover with your scheduled time for your parent-teacher conference.

Remember that we have asked parents not to smoke on school grounds whether the children are present or still in the building. This request is for the health concerns of our school children.

I hope you're all planning on dressing up and walking with the students in our Annual Halloween Parade. Kick-off will be at 11:00 on October 31st! This will be a half-day of school.

Thank you to [] and their many volunteers for once again bringing us a wonderful evening at Oktoberfest. The music, food, and fellowship were great. Thanks for supporting St. Barbara School and Parish.
