PRINCIPAL NOTES: Please continue taking your children to church each weekend. Also, please join the St. Barbara Parish community for the Stations of the Cross each Friday during Lent at 7:30 p.m. in the Church.
REMINDER: Tomorrow is a Teacher Institute Day - No school.
2ND ANNUAL GARAGE SALE: St. Barbara School will be having its 2nd Annual Garage Sale on March 20th and 21st from 8:00am-3:00pm. Drop off your gently used donations (clothes will be limited to infant clothes) on Sunday, March 15th from 10:00am-5:00pm or by appointment. Please call Elia A [] for more information. DR. SUESS DAY: On Monday, March 2nd, the entire school is invited to wear their silliest hat to celebrate the birthday of Theodore Geisel. ONLY those students who bring a gently used book for our school library may be out-of-uniform. Please remember to wear/bring gym shoes if you have gym on Mondays.
JUMP ROPE FOR HEART events held during gym class concluded today. We are still accepting donations/pledges until Tuesday, March 3rd. Thank you for your support.
VIRTUS CLASS: There will be a Virtus class Sunday, March 1, 2009 at 1:30pm in the Parish Center Prairie Rooms. You must pre-register online at www.virtusonline.com. Remember, you must be Virtus trained in order to volunteer with the students, including going on field trips, classroom parties, etc! Seats are limited, so please register early. Contact Diana D [] with any questions or if you need assistance with the pre-registration process.
IT'S BACK - ADULT TRIVIA NIGHT COMING SATURDAY, MARCH 7TH - Get a team together and come out and have some fun. Teams should consist of no more than 6 people, $10 per person. We will have a cash bar and CASH prizes. For more information, call Cathy K []

JUST A REMINDER...Girl Scout Sunday - March 8th: All St. Barbara Girl Scouts, adults, children and their families are invited to join us, next Sunday, March 8th at the 9:15AM Mass. Pews will be reserved and girls should sit with their families. Girls are welcome to wear their uniforms or their vest/sashes.
