PRINCIPAL NOTES: Plan a very special start to this Mother's Day, May 10th, by attending Mass. Also, please join us Monday morning, May 11th at 9:00 for the May Crowning and Ribbon Ceremony.
Please pay close attention to the attached Uniform Policy for next school year as there have been changes made to the existing Uniform Policy. Also, enclosed is the Schoolbelles brochure and Terrific Originals order form.
Congratulations to our second graders who will be receiving their First Holy Communion this Saturday, May 9th at 5:00 p.m.
Best wishes to our 8th graders who received the Sacrament of Confirmation last Friday, May 1st! Thanks to Sue P, Cathy K, and Peggy D for organizing the Confirmation reception, and to the 7th grade school and Religious Education parents who contributed to the Confirmation reception. Many compliments were received because of your help!
I want to say a very special thank you to our School Advisory Board, especially Mike F, Juan G, Dennis T, and to Debbie N for all their hard work and time spent on organizing the raffle and the Night at the Races. Both were a huge success! Everyone who attended had a great time! Thanks, too, to all of you who purchased and/or sold raffle tickets. With all of us working together, we can accomplish great things! A list of the winners will be in next week's tidbit.
Thanks to our wonderful FSA moms for the spectacular luncheon they prepared for us on Teacher Appreciation Day! The meal was delicious, the favors were adorable, and the gifts were very much appreciated by us all!
Our 8th graders were able to raise $510.90 for Father Mark's village in Uganda, through the Easter egg raffle. Thanks to everyone for participating in this worthy cause!

The Spring Band Concert has been moved back from May 19th to May 26th.
The DARE Graduation is May 14th and not May 7th.

YEARBOOK: I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the parents that have helped me in the past with the yearbook. I've had a lot of help getting pages completed and having pictures given to me. It has been a pleasure to work with everyone involved! After 10 years as chairperson of the yearbook, I am handing the responsibilities over to Cathy K. I hope that all of you give her the support and help that you have always given me! Dawn D

LUAU PARTY! The Student Council and FSA will be hosting an end-of-the-year Luau Party! The Luau will be on Friday, May 29th. A flier was sent home with your child already. We hope you can make it...and don't forget to wear your Hawaiian clothes!

TRANSPORTATION REIMBURSEMENT: Time is running out for all qualifying families grades K-8th! Be sure to come to the school office to apply online for the transportation reimbursement before the last day of school. EVEN IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED A SAFETY HAZARD APPROVAL LETTER, YOU MUST STILL COME TO SCHOOL AND FILE A CLAIM. The computation has been done for you. As long as you know the mileage from your house to school (one-way), you can find out the dollar amount when you come to the school office.
