Students that have asthma and use inhalers need to provide the required paperwork to the school office regardless of whether or not they carry the inhaler with them or if they only use their inhaler on an as-needed basis. THIS IS AN ILLINOIS STATE LAW. Effective Thursday, September 10th, students will NOT be permitted to participate in gym class or at recess until the necessary paperwork is received. Please call the school office if you need another form. You must provide us with this paperwork each new school year. The forms submitted last year will not suffice. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please feel free to call Ms. Erazmus or Mrs. Carone in the school office.

The popular Family Mass resumes at 9:15 a.m. (not 9:30) Sunday, September 13th. All families are encouraged to come and sing, praise and pray as one parish family. Please visit the table at Orientation Night to see the schedule of grade levels for upcoming Family Masses.
After school, children should not be playing outside without parent supervision, especially once the cones have been taken down. Also, children should NEVER be playing on or near the rock/grotto on the church lawn or near the flagpole outside the school. This is for the safety of the children.
Please do not bring pets with you when standing outside the school. Many of the students have allergies and/or are afraid of the animals. Also, students should not be playing on the grass by the church where the rock is located or by the flagpole. This is for the safety of the children.
The school children will NOT be attending Mass tomorrow morning. School will begin at the regular 8:30 start time.
Please try to use, or pass along to your neighbors and friends, the enclosed Jewel-Osco slips. Tim S, who passed away from cancer, was the brother of Beth P. Beth and Al are past school parents who remain very active in the parish. Among other things, they run our Oktoberfest.
FREE & REDUCED LUNCH APPLICATIONS: Any applications for the new school year are due in the office by TOMORROW, September 4th. Please note that you may request an application at any time during the school year if your income level should change. If you have any questions, please call Jenny G.
VIRTUS CLASS: There will be a Virtus class Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 1:00pm in the Parish Center conference rooms. You must pre-register online at www.virtusonline.com. Remember, you must be Virtus trained in order to volunteer with the students! Seats are limited, so please register early. Contact Diana D. with any questions or if you need assistance with the pre-registration process.
