ST. BARBARA SCHOOL
THURSDAY TIDBIT

September 6, 2007

PRINCIPAL NOTES: Opening of the School Year Mass will be Friday, September 14th at 8:00am in the church. Students should be in their classroom by 7:50am. We will not be attending 8:00 Mass tomorrow, Friday, September 7th. I thank you for your support of Catholic education!

Please read the enclosed letter regarding our school’s Terra Nova test results.

Remember there is no school on Monday, September 10th due to a teacher institute day.

Show your support of St. Barbara School by purchasing a car magnet. See flyer in today’s tidbit for details.

If you have not done so already, please sign and return the bottom portion of the letter in the front pocket of your Parent / Student Handbook.

ATTENTION ALL SCHOOL PARENTS: If you plan on working with the students or being around them in any capacity, i.e. library mom/dad, lunchtime supervisor, field trip chaperone, picture person etc., you must attend a one-time Virtus session. You can log onto www.virtus.org to sign up for a meeting in your area. If you have already completed a Virtus meeting, please send a copy of your certificate (if you have not already done so) to the school office for our files. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Mrs. Carone in the school office, 485-0806.
