PRINCIPAL NOTES: Again I thank everybody for a great Catholic Schools Week. I want to send a great big THANK YOU to our FSA cook, Cathy K, and her helper moms and dads for providing us with the hot dog and taco lunch. Also, the students enjoyed going inside the Globe balloon while learning at the same time!

Parents, we are requesting that no one smoke in front of the school. Also, please do not bring your pets near the school. Some of our students have allergies, not to mention, fears of animals.

The Terra Nova Tests will begin on March 3rd through March 14th for students in grades 2, 3, 5 and 7. Barring any illness, please do not schedule doctor appointments, trips, etc. during this time, as it is very important that the students are in school for testing.

REMINDER.....TOMORROW is an out-of-uniform day! Please bring in a donation of .50 or more for the 7th & 8th grader's Springfield Trip. We would greatly appreciate any donation you can make. We are trying to lower the cost of our field trip and we are half-way there! Thank you so much for any contribution you can make! Love- The 7th & 8th graders

SCHEDULE CHANGES: Please mark your calendars. The First Eucharist Parent Meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 28th at 7:30 p.m. in the Windemere Room.

The 8th grade retreat has been moved to Tuesday, February 26th from Friday, February 29th.

HOME RUN INN PIZZA DAY: Forms for the February 21st pizza day are due in the office no later than February 14th, 9:00am. If you have any questions, please call. []

CANDY GRAMS!!!!! The Student Council wants to play cupid! Fill out your Candy Grams and send them into school by tomorrow, Friday, February 8th. Cupid will deliver the Candy Grams to your sweeties on Valentine's Day! Please see the enclosed reminder sheet.

CASINO DATABASE MANAGER NEEDED: Casino Nights is looking for someone to manage the label database we use for our mass mailing of postcards to patrons. This would require updating the database in between casinos. Please call [] if you are interested in maintaining this very important database.

TALENT SHOW NEWS: Practice this weekend Sunday, February 10th at Noon in the Gym. Last practice was GREAT!!! I need to know what everyone one is doing, so if you can not make it this Sunday, please call me and let me know what your ACT is. Thanks, Primavera

MARKET DAY NEWS: Thank you to our kindergarten families and extra helpers who made our Saturday Market Day pick-up a great success! [] We appreciate your help! Don't miss out next month: Orders for our February sale are due by 2/27.

FSA NEWS: The Family School Association is offering Easter Flowers for sale. These are BEAUTIFUL quality plants at EXTRAORDINARY prices! See enclosed flyer for details. Orders are due March 4th and pick-up is Sunday, March 9th after all Masses.

VALENTINE’S DAY: We will be wearing red and/or pink accessories with the regular school uniform on Valentine’s Day, Thursday, February 14th. Coloring in the hair is not permitted.

DON'T FORGET! Student Council will be keeping their Bakery open for one more month. However, it will be open on Tuesdays instead of Wednesdays. Thank you so much for always supporting your Student Council! We promise to keep bringing yummy treats!

OPEN GYM: There will be open gym for anyone who would like to come out on February 15th and 18th from 9am to noon. Parents need to be present. Don't forget to bring something to drink.
